Please my situation is simple, I am proactively seeking the return of my unpaid 300 due, a portion of my $600 sec deposit... $300 was paid, but no notice of a claim ever came, plus a host of other things she did "off the record" or innapropriately, I know I am entitled...
Please review my receipts and sec deposit rough draft demand letter....
Please I am seeking someone in the law profession to spend a few mins to help me recover my money, all it will take is the intimidating effects of my letter properly revised (as needed) and sent from a law firm, to show my seriousness.

the Evidence (my Receipts)................

There was no signed lease...- She made me pay the deposit, which I couldnt do in full, and was about to walk away, but she "worked with me" and allowed me to pay it off in portions, as well as my rent to be due on my payday, every two weeks, instead of one monthly payment of $600... so as I paid my rent everytime, on time as schedueled, until the sec. dep. was paid in full (as receipt states), I was paying $400 every two weeks... this hurt me financially during this period, but I kept saying i'll get it back to myself, look at it that way, and I did, but in the end I only got $300 of my $600 for no reason other than she didnt have it and I didnt stay as long as she liked, tho I was longer term than many... in fact, she told me when I moved in, she hope I stay for a while as she gets tired of cleaning this place up every week it seems, and I joked about, how I would break the hotel like tenant behaviors she was use to, because I planned to stay a while and I did, 6 months, and there was no lease in fact the most documented proof of anything is the receipts...my strongest evidence along with no intent to keep any of my deposit in writing..., I took what I could when I left, the $300 she gave me before even looking at the place/inspecting, because she knew it was in shape.... so I didnt have to wait, she just gave me what she felt she could, and that was that to her, and waited, but no letter ever came certified mail or not, as to her intent to impose a claim... I need the help of someone so I can get my letter edited to perfection, and mailed.... before I run out of time here, lol.... lets not let that happen... this obviously means alot to me, I paid her on time, never gave any trouble and feel cheated, well I am cheated, thats the current reality.
Letter of Demand (Security Deposit)
I'd like to get this letter perfected, to show I mean business and to garner the right response without hesitation from this lady who knows she owes it to me, just needs to be pushed into doing it... So I seek an attorney, why I setup this blog, to portray my situation with all my evidence and all related stuff in one central location.... Basically I'd like a lawyer to spend couple mins of their time, edit/rework this simple letter so it can be delivered from the offices of a lawyer. I could send as is, but I only got one shot at this if I dont wanna drag it out in small claims, and that shot is best taken I think being backed officially or seemingly so by attorney services.... obviously, I cant pay too much for Im only trying to recover $300 and it shouldnt take too much time on the part of any professional who aids me...thanks in advance.

As you know my tenancy in the house/rooms I rented from you at: 3914 Raven Street, Panama City Beach, FL 32408 was terminated on April 17th, 2009.
As of today you have not returned $300 of my $600, nor have you sent me a written notice explaining why you have not returned my entire security deposit, forfeiting your right to impose any claim to it.
Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of Florida State Law – statue 83.49, I am asking that if a FULL REFUND of my Security Deposit is not made to me within SEVEN (7) DAYS of your receipt of this notice, I intend to bring a Small Claims suite against you to recover my Security Deposit, as well as any additional Damages, Costs, and Attorneys fees which the law allows.
